Uzbekistan Tours for US Travelers

Choose your Uzbekistan tour in 6, 8 or 10 days

Three private routes, with a clear price comparison

Planning a trip from the USA? Compare three Uzbekistan itineraries that start and finish in Tashkent. Choose a six-day train journey through three cities, an eight-day trip that adds Khiva, or ten days with more time in Bukhara and a named hotel package.

All three tours are private journeys for your own party of at least two guests, with local English-speaking city guides. International flights from the United States are separate; allow extra travel days on both sides of the tour.

Compare private Uzbekistan tours

Prices are in US dollars per person for a private party of exactly two adults sharing one double or twin room. The 8- and 6-day examples use Standard accommodation; the 10-day example uses its named hotel package. These published rates are valid through December 31, 2027, subject to availability. International flights are extra for every option; the 8-day tour also excludes its domestic airfare.

Fortress battlements at sunset in Khiva

10 days: four cities and named hotels

9 nights · US$2,715 per person

Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, with three nights in Bukhara. The hotel plan includes Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand. The Urgench–Tashkent domestic flight is included; the road to Khiva remains a long travel day. See the 10-day private tour for the daily program, hotels and complete inclusions.

Visitors at the Amir Temur monument in Tashkent

8 days: four cities in a shorter trip

7 nights · US$1,906 per person · Standard

Visit Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva in eight days, with a ceramics class in Gijduvan. This route includes a long drive across the Kyzylkum. The planned Urgench–Tashkent flight costs extra. Explore the 8-day Uzbekistan tour and compare Standard with Comfort accommodation.

Kalyan Minaret and turquoise domes above the rooftops of Bukhara

6 days: three cities by train

5 nights · US$1,261 per person · Standard

Travel from Tashkent to Bukhara, then Samarkand and back to Tashkent on three included high-speed train journeys. There are two nights in Bukhara and no domestic flight. Khiva is outside this route. Read the 6-day Uzbekistan train tour for train arrangements, transfers and sightseeing.

Which route fits your trip?

Choose 6 days for a compact rail itinerary

This is the clearest choice if your priority is Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand without the road journey to Khiva. Add your international travel days when working out how much time to take off.

Choose 8 days when Khiva is essential

You see all four cities within a shorter program. Expect more movement between stops, and budget for the domestic return flight as well as your flights from the USA.

Choose 10 days for more time in Bukhara

The longer route has nine hotel nights, including three in Bukhara. Its named hotel plan and included domestic return flight make the package different from the Standard options above.

Choose by pace as well as duration

City visits involve walking, steps and uneven surfaces. The routes with Khiva include a long road day. Ask about your walking needs and flight times before choosing the program.

Plan your journey from the United States

Match the tour to your flight dates

All three itineraries start and finish in Tashkent. Check the local arrival and departure dates on your airline ticket. Additional hotel nights or early check-in are separate unless your chosen tour explicitly includes them.

Compare flights for your departure city

Uzbekistan Airways operates a nonstop New York–Tashkent route. Connecting options are also available. Check your exact dates with the airline; published routes do not guarantee a particular departure or fare in 2027.

Check entry rules for your passport

Under the rule effective January 1, 2026, US citizens may visit Uzbekistan without a visa for up to 30 days. Check current passport, entry and registration requirements before travel, especially if you hold dual citizenship or use a different passport. The official US travel information is linked below.

Leave room for arrival and departure

The six, eight or ten days describe the program in Uzbekistan. They are not the total length of a round trip from the USA. Plan any recovery night and your international flight connections around the itinerary rather than adding sightseeing to every spare hour.

Understand hotels and the full trip cost

Standard and Comfort on the 6- and 8-day tours

Both itineraries offer accommodation categories. The comparison above uses Standard; Comfort has its own rate. Compare the hotel descriptions, room type and number of guests on the tour page before selecting an option.

Named hotels on the 10-day tour

The published plan includes Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand. Read the full hotel list and the tour’s alternative-hotel conditions. A brand name on one stop does not mean every hotel on the route belongs to that brand.

Add expenses outside the package

International airfare, lunches, travel insurance and personal spending are excluded from all three tour prices. The 8-day itinerary also excludes Urgench–Tashkent airfare. Consult the selected program for the full list of inclusions and extras.

Compare the same party size and room setup

A six-person price is not the price for a couple. Select the rate for your actual party and accommodation. Single rooms and any extra nights have separate terms; use the selected tour’s price options to build your budget.

Questions from US travelers

Are these departures from an airport in the USA?

The tour service starts in Tashkent. You book your international flights separately, from whichever US airport suits your trip. Airport transfers are included as described in each itinerary.

Will we join a group of strangers?

These three options are private tours for your own party of at least two guests. The rate categories for two, four or six people describe your party size; they are not places on a shared group departure.

Does one English-speaking guide stay with us throughout?

Local English-speaking guides lead the scheduled city sightseeing. A continuous tour escort is not included. Check the day-by-day program for guided visits, transfers and time on your own.

Can one traveler book the two-person price?

The prices shown here require two travelers sharing a room. They are not solo rates. If you plan to travel alone, ask CAJ about a suitable arrangement before making a payment.

Are train times and seats already guaranteed?

No. The itineraries describe the planned journeys; tickets and schedules depend on your travel date and availability. Check the transport notes on the chosen tour, including any alternative arrangements.

How do I book and pay?

Open your chosen tour, review its terms and complete the order form. Pay online by Visa or Mastercard. CAJ then receives the request and sends confirmation of the purchased tour. Payment and CAJ’s confirmation are separate steps.
