Availability and price validity. These tour prices are valid through December 31, 2027. Hotels and transport remain subject to availability for your dates. The published itinerary is the planning basis; final services are recorded in CAJ’s confirmation.
- Accommodation. State DBL, TWIN or SGL when booking. If a named hotel is unavailable, a comparable replacement is agreed in advance.
- Transport. Exact train and flight times depend on the tickets available. Changes can affect the order or duration of visits.

What depends on the train and flight
Exact trains, flights and meeting times are stated in the confirmed program. These are the main timing constraints:
- Day 2: Tashkent sightseeing precedes the train; Samarkand hotel arrival is usually 18:30–21:00.
- Day 4: Gijduvan and Vobkent stops make this a road day; Bukhara arrival is normally 17:30–19:00.
- Day 9: the Urgench–Tashkent flight determines how much capital sightseeing fits before dinner.
The sequence or duration of visits may change with ticket availability, weather, road conditions and local access rules. CAJ confirms the practical arrangements for your dates.
Who accompanies the travellers
Local English-speaking guides are included on Days 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8; Day 9 guiding is subject to the flight schedule. An evening arrival in Tashkent allows the hotel transfer and dinner only. Days 4 and 7 have driver service. Trains and the domestic flight are taken independently, with meetings arranged at arrival points. A full-route escorted guide is optional and priced on request; it is separate from the included city guides.

What is the price for our party size?
Prices in USD per person: 2 travelers — DBL/TWIN $2,715 or SGL $3,377; 4 travelers — DBL/TWIN $2,435 or SGL $3,098; 6 travelers — DBL/TWIN $2,299 or SGL $2,961. SGL is the total single-room price, not a supplement. These prices are valid through December 31, 2027; dates and services are subject to availability. There is no extra cardholder payment fee.
What does the tour price include?
It includes the room type you book (DBL/TWIN or SGL), breakfasts and dinners according to the program, local guides, the included entrance tickets, transfers, A/C transport, Afrosiyob train Tashkent–Samarkand, domestic flight Urgench–Tashkent, water and the listed cultural experiences.
What is not included?
International flights, lunches, travel insurance, tips, personal expenses, early check-in, late check-out, optional Afrasiab Museum and synagogue visits, the optional minaret climb, a full-route escort and any services not listed as included. Poi-Kalon is an exterior visit.
Where does the tour start and finish?
The tour starts with airport pick-up in Tashkent on day 1 and ends with a Tashkent airport transfer on day 10. Standard hotel check-in is after 14:00. Early check-in may cost extra, depends on availability and must be confirmed in advance.
Where do I meet the guide?
For sightseeing days, the guide usually meets you in the hotel lobby around 09:00. On station, airport and transfer days, the meeting point is shown in the program and reconfirmed before the day.
How long is the longest road day?
Bukhara to Khiva via the Kyzylkum Desert is the longest road day. It usually takes about 7–8.5 hours including stops.
Do US citizens need a visa?
From January 1, 2026, US citizens can visit Uzbekistan visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism or business. For longer stays or special cases, check visa requirements before booking.
Are international flights from the USA included?
No. Book international flights to and from Tashkent separately and allow extra travel days beyond the 10 days in Uzbekistan. The domestic flight from Urgench to Tashkent is included in the tour.
What documents are needed for booking?
A clear passport scan for each traveler is needed for hotel registration, train tickets and domestic flight ticketing.
